Overview

The Animal Control Department is dedicated to:

• Protecting the citizens of West Columbia from rabies
• Reducing the incidence of animal-inflicted injuries by promoting responsible pet ownership through public education
• Enforcing animal control laws
• Keeping the City free of deceased animals on the roadway

The Animal Control Department provides:

• Animal reporting procedures
• Pet licensing and permits
• Spay / neuter information
