Complaints
Any complaints about animals at large or animal welfare complaints need to be called in to the West Columbia Police Department at 979-345-5121. The dispatcher will ask you for some information and dispatch the Animal Control Officer to the location or a Police Officer if Animal Control is not available.
Bats are very dangerous. Occasionally bats are found within the city limits. They can carry very dangerous if not deadly diseases. If you find a bat, please DO NOT TOUCH IT. Call for the Animal Control Officer and she will collect the bat.
