A Volunteer Taking
a Picture of a Plant
Each plant or group of plants can be adopted for maintenance. Maintenance includes pruning, mulching, watering, fertilizing, weeding, and publicizing the plant to the community.

You as an individual or as a member of a church, club, organization, class or other group, can adopt a plant or plants to care for or research and write about. Other activities you could do with your plant or plants  might be to donate a sign, to write a lesson, to take photos, to write a blog or Facebook post, or whatever you volunteer to do.
To adopt a plant, you must register as a volunteer with the city clerk or city manager.  CLICK HERE.
