Utility bills for residents inside the City of West Columbia are subject to disconnection for non-payment on the 21st of each month. If the 21st falls on a Saturday, Sunday or city observed holiday, disconnection occurs the next business day. A disconnection fee of $30 is charged to reconnect the service and must be paid by 4 pm. After hours, weekends or city observed holidays, a reconnect fee of $35 is due to reconnect service and must be paid no later than 8 pm at the West Columbia Police Dept., 310 E. Clay.

Welcome to 65th Annual San Jacinto Festival which began on April 1954.
We would like to invite you to our opening ceremonies which will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the First Capitol Park located at the Pavilion. All previous Belle of the Brazos are invite to attend from 1953 to 2018. We would like to recognize you at our event.
After the ceremony please visit our BBQ Cook-off area or hang around and cheer on our participants for the Glow Fun Run which begins at 8:00 p.m. They will be running/walking through a 3.1 course at First Capitol Park with glow in the dark items throughout the course. After the run we will have a Fireworks display in celebration of our 65th anniversary to start our festival off!
So come out and celebrate with us on Friday night!

Kick off the 65th Annual San Jacinto Festival with us!
Light up the night and join us for 3.1 miles at the San Jacinto Glow Fun Run, an event designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities.
Located at First Capitol Park, FM 2852 in West Columbia.
The Course starts at First Capitol Park, running to Varner Hogg and back to park throughout the walking trail.
Runners and walkers are welcome to join in for an evening filled with glow sticks, black lights, and great music.
The cost of entry is $20.00 for those who register by April 15.
All participants who register by April 15 will be guaranteed a shirt.
Youth participants are also welcome and may join in on the glow run for free.
Registration and check in will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the run will start at 8

Meet at Carta Valley Market for the Parade! Bring chairs and sip on Mimosas while you shop and watch the parade!

Please join us for our annual shrimp boil, fish fry and auction! Food will start being served at 11am with a little zydeco music and the auction to follow. Each plate will be $15 and loaded with the best fish and shrimp in town. Tickets can be purchased from all rotary members and will also be for sale at Prosperity Bank in West Columbia. All proceeds from our single fundraiser go right back into our community supporting Columbia United, student scholarships, Boy Scouts and many other local projects. We hope to see you all there!
